  • Laurent came to Acadie around 1676 he was at Pointe Beausejour near Beaubassin with his wife in the 1678 census. He was still there in 1707. In 1714 he was at Saint Pierre du Sud near Montmagny Quebec, and in 1718 at Saint Antoine de Tilly where his first wife was buried on Jan. 28/1718. In 1719 he was a milner on Montreal island. He died at Riviere des Prairies and buried May 1/1737

    In 1678 he was at Beaubassin with Jean Campagna and Francois Pellerin
    Jean Campagna was the object of a huge trial related to whitchcraft in 1685
