The Waves on Bay Chaleur

From eerie tales of phantom ships to bonfires on the bay;
Treasures for the minds of those who drifted far away.

Highway take me home once more to my New Brunswick shore,
And all the dreams I wished across the waves of Bay Chaleur.

Mine is just one of countless hearts you've captured through the years;
On each of us you've left a yearning call to come back here.

I've chased dreams across this land, and I've had some come true,
But there are none so precious as the ones I shared with you.

I won't find more beauty than the charm I've seen before
The picture perfect scenery of your undeveloped shore.

From eerie tales of phantom ships to bonfires on the bay;
Treasures for the minds of those who drifted far away,

Highway take me home once more to my New Brunswick shore,
And all the dreams I wished across the waves of Bay Chaleur
